Membership Information

You have selected the Bridge Builders Membership (Bi- and Multi-Racial Folks) membership level.

As a multiracial individual, you often hold complex and shifting relationships to power, privilege, and oppression shaped by how others perceive you, your proximity to whiteness, and the cultural lineages you carry.

As such, this membership is pay-what-you-can. We invite you to select a contribution that reflects both the barriers you face and the racial privilege you may hold. There’s no perfect formula, just an honest reflection rooted in your lived experience, values, and capacity.

We know that multiracial people often walk in multiple worlds navigating tensions, bridging communities, and holding space where others might turn away. You are not on the margins of this movement, you are essential to it, you are enough. Thank you for being here.

Membership Questions

These following questions aren’t about testing your knowledge, they’re about checking for readiness, openness, and alignment with the kind of space we’re building together.
We’re not looking for perfect answers. We’re not expecting you to have it all figured out. What we are looking for is a willingness to show up with humility, a heart in the right place, and a commitment to keep this space safer, braver, and rooted in care, especially for our BIPOC members.
This community is about relationship, reflection, and accountability. These questions help us make sure this is the right place for you and that you are ready for what this space is about.

At MAR, “mom” and “mothering” are expansive.
We welcome all people, of all genders, who nurture, guide, and raise the next generation, whether through parenting, caregiving, mentoring, or community leadership. Mothering can be paid or unpaid, biological or chosen, and looks different for everyone.

Compassionate Community & Values Check-In

We believe everyone is both a learner and a teacher, and mistakes are part of the journey. What matters most is how we show up: with compassion, curiosity, and a willingness to grow.

Healing & Showing Up With Care

We’re committed to creating a space where we don’t blow our trauma through others. An anti-racist space where we take responsibility for our wounds, practice self-awareness, and show up in ways that foster collective care.
