Objectives / Goals
- Create safe spaces for BIPOC children to experience joyful, culturally-affirming activities.
- Strengthen mental health and self-esteem by reducing the isolation caused by systemic racism.
- Build supportive relationships among BIPOC families and communities.
- Empower families to challenge exclusionary practices and build anti-racism capacity.
Who it’s for (audience):
- Exclusively for BIPOC children of all ages and their families/caregivers.
- Primarily serving children in Victoria, BC, with plans to expand to Metro Vancouver.
How it works (structure, frequency, format)
- Frequency: Monthly in-person recreational events (e.g., ice skating, bowling, creative arts).
- Format: Private, accessible venues that remove barriers related to cost, safety, and cultural isolation.
- Location: Victoria, BC + future expansion to Metro Vancouver

- 500+ participants over the past 12 months.
- 12+ community events delivered annually.
